Family Prayer Ministry ("FPM," "we," "our") is a community prayer coordination ministry operated by William Trudeau as a sole proprietorship. Our website is https://familyprayerministry.org.

When you apply to become a member through our Subscribe page, we collect the following information:

Your name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred contact method, information about your faith and church affiliation, a brief personal testimony, your intercessory prayer experience, and your agreement to our Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.

If you opt in to receive SMS prayer alerts, we also store your consent status.

When you submit a prayer request or testimony through the member area, we collect the content you provide along with your name and email.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

Membership review: Your application information is reviewed by our oversight team to evaluate membership eligibility.

Account management: Your name and email are used to create and maintain your member account.

Email communications: We send prayer alert broadcasts, application status updates, and testimony publication notifications to your email address via our MailPoet mailing list.

SMS communications: If you opt in, we send prayer alert text messages to your phone number via Twilio. Message frequency varies based on submitted prayer requests, typically 1–5 per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Prayer coordination: Prayer requests and testimonies you submit are shared with other approved members to facilitate corporate prayer.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or financial data of any kind. Family Prayer Ministry does not solicit or accept donations through this website.

How We Protect Your Information

Your information is stored securely within our WordPress database on an SSL-encrypted server hosted by HostGator. Access to member data is limited to administrators and oversight team members. Prayer alert emails are sent using BCC headers to protect recipient email addresses from other members.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the ministry:

MailPoet: Email delivery for prayer alerts and notifications.

Twilio: SMS delivery for prayer alert text messages to opted-in members.

Google reCAPTCHA: Form spam protection on our application and submission forms. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any other third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or their affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS Terms

By opting in to SMS prayer alerts, you consent to receive text messages from Family Prayer Ministry at the phone number you provide. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by disabling SMS alerts in your account settings. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your Rights

You may update your personal information at any time through your My Account page. If you wish to have your account and all associated data deleted, please contact us at the email address below and we will process your request promptly.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active. Pending applications that are not acted upon are automatically deleted after 30 days. If your membership is terminated or you request deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
