What Drives Us
We believe in the transformative power of prayer to advance the objectives of God's Kingdom — and the strength of His Family united in focused intercession.
The Heart of Our Ministry
At Family Prayer Ministry, we believe in the transformative power of prayer to advance the objectives of God's Kingdom. Just as Jacob wrestled with God and received a blessing, we humbly approach the Throne of Grace in corporate prayer, seeking God's assistance in our times of need.
Our specific vision is to facilitate practical ways for addressing particularly serious or widely shared needs through focused intercession by as many members of the Family of God as the Holy Spirit leads.
Three Pillars
Our vision rests upon three scriptural pillars that shape everything we do.
At Family Prayer Ministry, we believe in the transformative power of prayer to advance the objectives of God's Kingdom.
Just as Jacob wrestled with God and received a blessing, we humbly approach the Throne of Grace in corporate prayer, seeking God's assistance in our times of need.
Esther rallied her community to join her in prayer during a time of crisis, and God brought about a powerful deliverance.
This ministry offers a platform for like-minded Christians to come together in prayer when we encounter our own urgent challenges.
This ministry acknowledges that many needs are effectively met through personal prayer or the collective prayers of a local church.
Our specific vision is to facilitate practical ways for addressing particularly serious or widely shared needs through focused intercession by as many members of the Family of God as the Holy Spirit leads.
Our Framework
The scriptural foundation that guides our ministry
In Jesus, all Believers belong to the Family of God. Through Jesus, all Believers have access by one Spirit unto the Father. From Jesus, all Believers receive the call to prayer.
"Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named."
— Ephesians 3:15 (KJV)"For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father."
— Ephesians 2:18 (KJV)"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."
— Ephesians 6:18 (KJV)We are not talking about pride-filled demonstrations. We are not talking about vain repetitions. We are talking about God finding humble intercessors — and these intercessors finding one another for the good of God's Kingdom and Family.
"When thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
— Matthew 6:6 (KJV)"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
— Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV)"Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
— Matthew 18:19 (KJV)Prayer founded upon God's Word and offered in faith is sure to reach the ear of Almighty God. God Himself joins Divine action to His hearing. Whenever God acts, there is power.
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."
— 1 John 5:14–15 (KJV)"And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."
— Acts 4:31 (KJV)Our Calling
