Statement of Faith & Code of Conduct

Please review the following carefully. All subscribers are asked to affirm their agreement with these foundations as part of the application process.

I. Statement of Faith: Foundations of Our Fellowship

1. The Sovereignty of God and Holy Scripture

We believe in the one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We hold to the Word of God as our supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and life, believing it to be inspired, inerrant, and sufficient for the believer's journey (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

2. Redemption by Grace

We confess that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, through faith alone, by grace alone. We are justified not by our works, but by the finished work of Christ on the cross and His triumphant resurrection (Ephesians 2:8-9).

3. The Life of the Spirit

We recognize the ongoing, vital work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. While we are rooted in Reformed truth, we are a Spirit-filled fellowship. We embrace the gift of "praying in the Spirit" (Jude 20) as a means of deep intercession. While this practice is not a requirement for membership, it characterizes our collective approach to seeking the heart of God (Romans 8:26-27).

4. The Primacy of the Local Church

We believe the local church is the primary expression of God's kingdom on earth. This ministry is not a replacement for, nor an alternative to, the local church. We honor the God-ordained authority of local elders and pastors, and we defer to their spiritual oversight in the lives of our members (Hebrews 13:17).

II. Code of Conduct: The Way of Love and Order

1. The Standard of Charity (1 Cor. 13)

All interactions within this ministry must be governed by the "more excellent way." We are patient and kind; we do not envy or boast; we are not arrogant or rude. We do not insist on our own way, and we are not irritable or resentful. Our goal is to bear all things and endure all things in the bond of peace (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

2. Deference to Local Authority

Members are expected to remain in good standing with their local congregations. This ministry will never intrude into local pastoral prerogatives or offer counsel that contradicts the biblical direction of a member's local leadership. Our role is to pray, not to preside.

3. Spiritual Freedom vs. Legalism

We reject all forms of spiritual legalism. While we encourage discipline, no member shall be pressured to follow specific "methods" of prayer. Whether one chooses to fast, the duration of their intercession, or the time of day they seek the Lord is a matter of personal conscience and liberty in Christ (Galatians 5:1).

4. Boundaries and Integrity

Non-Solicitation: We will never solicit funds, nor shall any member use this platform for financial gain or the promotion of personal business.

Personal Boundaries: We maintain a strict policy of respect for physical and digital boundaries. We recognize that intercession is a sacred trust that must never be used to manipulate or exert undue influence over others.

Commitment: Membership is a voluntary association of like-minded believers. There is no pressure to join or remain; we serve together only so long as it is a joy and a calling.
